EVA 02 METALLIC VARIANT EXCLUSIVE STATUE – EVANGELION – ONIRI CREATIONS
Limited edition of 150 copies
For our first EVA, we wanted to give maximum dynamism to the statue, whether through the position of the Eva, the movement of the waves and of course the cape which brings real movement to the whole.
Concerning Eva-02, the objective was to create the most faithful version possible, so it was sculpted according to the original references from the anime series.
The aircraft carrier is teeming with details, we can see its missile launchers, its turrets, its anchors and even a fighter plane in full fall following the Eva’s jump onto the aircraft carrier. We can also see the impacts of the Eva’s feet on the launch pad.
Particular attention was paid to the movements of the waves which were carried out by a special effects specialist.
Finally, the black base decorated with patterns that can be found in the series ends with a red border which recalls the main color of the Eva-02.
A masterpiece for Evangelion fans.
The Metallic Variant Exclusive version is limited to only 150 copies worldwide and is only available on our website and in very limited quantities in the Evangelion Stores in Japan. This variant is distinguished by a metallic color. A painting process called “candy” consisting of applying a silver-colored undercoat then a transparent red ink is used to obtain this very special rendering. The two-component glossy varnish finish gives a very attractive bodywork appearance.
This type of rendering, which is often found on Evangelion products, is very popular with fans of the series.
