Discover or rediscover the story of our young hero whose ambition is to become Hokage! For the occasion, TSUME and KANA HOME VIDEO are proud to collaborate in order to offer you a collector’s edition accompanied by a Naruto & Kyubi statue – Linked by the seal HQS by TSUME.
While still a baby, Naruto became a prison in which the terrible nine-tailed fox, Kyubi, was sealed. Although marked by this “curse”, Naruto ends up learning to cohabit and then sympathize with his “guest”. We wanted to represent in our own way the relationship between the young man and his biju.
Based on an original illustration by our concept artist, we find on the statue Naruto Uzumaki, seated on the imposing Kyubi, in a situation where we feel the emerging complicity between the two characters. Naruto looks at Kyubi looking exasperated by his bulky mate’s massive appendages. The latter meets her eyes, half exasperated, half amused.
The sculpture combines digital art and traditional art for a sumptuous rendering, both precise and organic. While being technical and complex, the statue retains reasonable dimensions in order to allow as many collectors as possible to exhibit it at home. Special attention was paid to Naruto and Kyubi’s expressions and the direction of their gazes. With our first foray into the universe of the original Naruto series, we offer an original composition where sculpture and painting work to transcribe as faithfully as possible its particular atmosphere.
The statue will be supplied with its numbered plaque and certificate of authenticity.
