Considered a timeless classic, *Jaws* is an American thriller directed by Steven Spielberg in 1975. Based on Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel, *Jaws* is widely regarded as one of cinema’s greatest achievements.
The *Jaws* ride at Universal Studios opened in 1990 in Orlando, Florida. With a $45 million budget, the ride quickly became a famous park attraction, and a second version later opened at Universal Studios Japan in 2001.
The suspended shark in Orlando—an unparalleled photo opportunity—became a tribute to the legacy of this iconic film.
Elite Creature Collectibles has created this museum-quality model of the suspended shark, featuring state-of-the-art sculpting and detailed paintwork. The piece was sculpted by Bitan and Mavis, and painted by Oskar Ankarudd.
