For Macaluso, the 7th year Akuma represents more than just another statue. “The new one is the accumulation of all the knowledge and experience we have accrued as a company since we started. In an age when most items are digitally created, I took the time to hand-sculpt him personally, just as the first Akuma was done.
The new Akuma statue now rendered in a larger, 1:3 scale size (the first one was 1:4), clocking in at a staggering 32” tall. No expense was spared in including tailored fabric costume, light-up LED eyes and movie-quality Acrylic teeth. In honor of the previous version’s paint variant, a alternate “Shin Akuma” will be produced in limited quantities.
Not only is this the best Akuma collectible ever, it could very well be the best statue PCS has ever produced.
